Bumpi Tunes Coloring Book: Shapes Are Great is built around three kinds of activities that grow with your child. Each one uses the same cheerful Bumpi characters your child already knows from the videos and games, so the book feels like a visit with old friends instead of a worksheet.
Big, bold outlines of circles, squares, triangles, rectangles, ovals, and stars give little hands plenty of room to color inside the lines — or joyfully outside them. The lines are thick and the shapes are large on purpose: toddlers are still building grip strength and hand control, and a page that forgives wobbly crayons keeps coloring fun instead of frustrating. Each coloring page names the shape in a friendly caption, so children hear and see the shape word every time they pick up a crayon.
Dotted-line shapes invite children to trace circles, squares, and triangles with a crayon or marker. Tracing is one of the earliest pre-writing skills: it teaches the hand to follow a path, builds the same fine-motor control children will later use to form letters, and gives a satisfying sense of "I did it!" with every completed outline.
